can become a CAPF Guardian Scholar? |
CAPF Guardian Scholars Student requirements:
-
Highly
motivated college bound former foster youth who have graduated
High School
-
Must
complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
-
Students
who meet the following requirements:
-
Must
maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
-
2.5 GPA at participating schools for the larger scholarship award
-
Maintain
a minimum of 12 units of coursework
-
Obtain
a part-time job
-
Fully
participate in all aspects of the CAPF Guardian Scholars
Program
-
Agree
to staff monitoring
of academic performance
and university
records
-
Abide
by all university standards for appropriate
conduct and community behavior

Application
will be available no later than January
1, 2008.

Application
is DUE by Midnight on March 2,
2008.

materials unable to be emailed, must be faxed or post-marked by
March 2, 2008.

Incomplete
application packages will not be reviewed.

Applicants
will be notified of the CAPF Scholarship Committee’s
final decisions no later than May 1, 2008.
