What:
Join the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation, CBS 8/KFMB-TV and Office Depot in our annual Give Your Heart to Kids Backpack Flash Drive. We’re seeking donations of backpacks, flash drives and gift cards or monetary donations, so foster kids who have been removed from unsafe homes can have the tools they need when they go back to school. Backpacks assist in carrying their books and supplies and flash drives let them save and transfer their work as they move from one borrowed computer to another.

Backpacks, Flash drives and gift cards may be donated to Office Depot stores throughout San Diego Monday, Aug. 4 through Wednesday Aug. 20, culminating Aug. 21 in a “Live Drive” event from 10a.m. to 6 p.m. featuring live coverage by CBS 8/KFMB-TV at:
