The goal of the CAPF Guardian Scholars program is to provide each of our students personalized help with financial assistance, life-skills coaching, mentoring, housing, and the many other services that will enable former foster youth to fulfill their dream of attaining a college degree.

How can I become a CAPF Guardian Scholar?

Requirements, deadlines & checklists

CAPF Guardian Scholars provides qualifying students with:

• Between $3,500 and $5,000
• Assistance with college admissions
• New-student orientation
• Academic advising
• Employment assistance
• Access to affordable housing
• Mentoring opportunities
• Life-skills coaching
• Post-graduation career planning and assistance
